Hiking in Wengen
Flower meadows, ridge paths and the north face in view: the finest hikes in the Jungfrau region start outside our door.
Whether it is a leisurely panorama trail or a climb along the Lauberhorn course: from Wengen you reach the finest trails on foot, by the Wengernalp railway or by cable car up to the Männlichen.
The most important piece of equipment is your footwear. Take your time trying boots on with us – with your hiking socks and ideally in the afternoon, when your feet are slightly bigger.

Panorama trail Männlichen – Kleine Scheidegg
4.5 km · approx. 1 h 20 · mid-June to October
Probably the best-known high-level trail in the region: almost flat, with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau right in front of you. Up by cable car from Wengen, back by the Wengernalp railway.

Lauberhorn trail

Uphill along the Lauberhorn downhill – past the Hundschopf, Minschkante and Canadian Corner, with information panels on race history (SchweizMobil route 352).

Break in new hiking boots around the village for a few days before your first long tour. And if in doubt, go half a size up: your toes need room on the descent.
